1. How long have you been a model?
I did a little modeling in 2007, but I really got started in 2017.

2. What type of modeling do you do?
A little bit of everything. I really like boudoir because as a disabled plus size model I like to push the envelope, and prove that anyone can be sexy.

3. You have been published before , where have you been featured at?
Yes, I have been published more than 15 times; so far I have been published in Mysfit, MMM, Ample Angelz, DAM, Seize the DAE, Xzibit, All Beauty Counts, VFF and a magazine of just my own pictures called Here's Jonni.

 4. Name the one thing you are most proud of that you have accomplished?
When I directed and produced STEEL MAGNOLIAS with my theatre company, I had strangers tell me it was "as good as" and "sometimes better than," the movie.

 5. Name the one thing in your past that scared you the most?
Being a disappointment to those who know me or are counting on me.

 6. Your modeling career is different from most , why is it different?
I'm paraplegic from a car wreck when I was 16, so a lot of my life is different than most.

 7. Was it hard getting into this field & is it something you have always wanted to do?
Yes and yes. As a disabled model, finding photographers willing to work with me in the beginning was difficult, and even now that I'm an experienced model I know that there are still some photographers who won't work with me because of my wheelchair and the fact that I'm plus sized, but this is something that I was always interested in and believed it would help me with my acting career as well.

 8. Did you have to carve your own way and did you get a lot of support?
I definitely carved my own way and made a path for myself.

 9. Who was the person who helped you the most getting into modeling?
I was inspired by a few plus-sized models as body positivity has become more of a thing in the past few years.

 10. Did you ever get to the point where you said " I don't want to do this anymore "
Yes, at first I was doing a lot of topless shoots, and it got to a point where I was wanting to show that I could do more.

 11. You model from a wheelchair , could you describe what happened?
I wrecked my car when I was 16. I was on my way to work and rolled my car on a dirt road in Western Nebraska. I am completely paralyzed from my hips down.

 12. How long did it take for you to understand what happened and decide what path you would go next?
I was conscious through my accident and was a CNA at the time and had gone through EMT training so I knew right away what had happened. I talked to myself like a first responder to try to remain calm, and it was an hour and a half before anyone else drove by to find me.

 13. What was the biggest obstacle you had to get over to succeed in this business?
People's willingness to look past my chair and see my talents. Often people don't expect disabled individuals to be capable of much.

14.Differently Abled Entertainment is something you are involved with . Could you explain what it is?
I'm actually the founder. It's a nonprofit and our mission is to promote and encourage differently abled artists in the entertainment industry by producing content featuring their talents. I want to help break down barriers for the disabled community within the entertainment industry because although over 26% of adults in America are living with some form of disability, we (disabled) are only represented in 1-2% of TV and film.

15. If someone was interested , how would / could they get involved with them?
They can email us at differentlyabledentertainment@gmail.com, or search Differently Abled Entertainment on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pintrest or LinkedIn. We also have a private Facebook group called Differently Abled Models, Actors and Entertainers where we give our members first dibs on signing up for our upcoming events.

16. Have you been in a scary movie before?'
No I have not, but I'm competing to possibly be in one with the FACE of HORROR contest.
